Editor in Chief Message

Editor-in-Chief, Journal of Bacha Khan Medical College

It is a great honor and privilege for me to serve as the first Editor-in-Chief (EIC) of the Journal of Bacha Khan Medical College (JBKMC)—the inaugural academic journal of our esteemed institution. I am humbled by the trust placed in me and fully aware of the responsibility that comes with this role.I am deeply grateful to Almighty Allah and extend heartfelt appreciation to my colleagues whose unwavering dedication has brought this journal to life. What you now hold is the culmination of months of hard work, academic collaboration, and a shared commitment to advancing medical science.Establishing a new journal is no trivial task—it demands vision, perseverance, and collaboration. Our immediate goal is to publish at least two high-quality issues annually. Looking ahead, we aspire to elevate the journal to international standards by seeking indexation in the National Library of Medicine (PubMed) and eventually obtaining an Impact Factor.Our vision is to make JBKMC a reliable, useful, and engaging platform for the medical and research community—one that encourages innovation, evidence-based discourse, and scholarly rigor.The success of any academic journal depends on the dedication and collaboration of four key pillars:

  • Our authors, who contribute their original work

  • Our peer reviewers, who ensure scientific validity

  • Our associate editors, who uphold editorial standards

  • Our publication staff, who bring the vision into reality
