About the Journal

The Journal of Bacha Khan Medical College (JBKMC) is the official peer-reviewed biomedical journal of Bacha Khan Medical College (BKMC), Mardan, Pakistan, affiliated with Khyber Medical University (KMU), Peshawar. The journal publishes high-quality original research articles, reviews, case reports, and commentaries across all fields of medicine and allied health sciences.

JBKMC adheres to the recommendations of the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE) and the ethical publishing standards of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). The journal follows a double-blind peer review policy and maintains an experienced editorial board comprising national and international experts.

JBKMC is committed to open access publishing. All articles are freely available online immediately upon publication, allowing unrestricted reading, downloading, copying, distribution, and citation in accordance with the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0).
