Aim & Scope

The Journal of Bacha Khan Medical College (JBKMC) is a peer-reviewed biomedical journal committed to fostering a culture of scientific inquiry and academic excellence in the field of medicine and health sciences. The primary aim of JBKMC is to serve as a dynamic platform for the dissemination of high-quality medical research contributed by students, faculty, clinicians, and researchers. The journal promotes evidence-based medical education and clinical practice, encouraging scientifically oriented thinking among healthcare professionals.

Each issue features a selection of original research articles, systematic reviews, meta-analyses, and case reports addressing current trends, innovations, and challenges in the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of diseases. All manuscripts are prepared and processed in accordance with the Uniform Requirements for Manuscripts Submitted to Biomedical Journals as outlined by the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE) (www.icmje.org), and are subjected to double-blind peer review by national and international subject specialists. The journal upholds the highest standards of editorial integrity, publication ethics, and transparency, following the guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
